Fourth of July Weekend gearing up for Fireworks And More
There is no shortage of pyrotechnics, food specials and entertainment choices to enjoy over Fourth of July weekend in Las Vegas. Here is a partial list of firework displays, all getting underway at 9 p.m.: Stratosphere, Mandalay Bay, Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock Resort. Enjoy the South Point’s specialty menus over the holiday weekend at the Garden Buffet ($14.95) and Coronado Café where you can pig out on a delicious BBQ for just $8.95 or the All-American Burger for a reasonable $9.95. On the Strip, Cabo Wabo Cantina inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood will host a patio party that inlcudes drink specials, music by Rein Garcia and fireworks, July 3-5. Tempt yourself with Cabo’s patriotic Fiesta Firework daiquiri priced at $19. Drais’ BeachlClub/NightClub at the Cromwell steps up the holiday weekend with live concerts featuring Chris Brown and Tyga. DayDream Pool at M Resort heats up the holiday with a Bikini Contest on July 4.
Mob Museum Showcasing Summer Movie Series
Cool off at The Mob Museum’s Speakeasy Cinema where they are showing classic Mob Noir films. Coming up July 8 is Dark City; July 15, fans will see 711 Ocean Drive and the final movie in the series on July 22 is Hoodlum Empire. A short presentation featuring tidbits about each movie will be shown prior to each screening. Individual tickets for non-members of the museum are $15 and $12 for members.
