The most-friendly on your wallet appears to be downtown’s El Cortez where you can chow down for a mere $15.95. Good value at the Silverton’s Sundance Grill where you can enjoy a traditional three-course dinner for $18.99. Another good bargain can be found at Du-Pars inside The Golden Gate for $19.95 (kids under 12 pay $11.95). It’s just a couple of bucks more at just $21.95 at Hash House A Go Go at The Linq Hotel or downtown’s Plaza. How about trying the Turkey Dog priced at $6.95 Rockhouse inside The Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes or Planet Hollywood’s PBR Rock Bar & Grill turkey feast for $19.99. The following day, Nov. 27 is Black Friday, supposedly the best day to pick up your holiday items at discount prices. Silverton invites hungry shopper who are members of their Reward Club to enjoy a $5 Black Friday Lunch Buffet at Seasons Buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Lyft gets the Green light to Pick up Passengers at McCarran International Airport
Forget standing in a long line to hail a taxi when you arrive at McCarran International Airport. Instead, use your phone app to secure a ride from Lyft, the first ridesharing company to legally operate from terminals 1 and 3. During its introduction, Lyft is giving customers $5 off two separate rides either to or from McCarran through April 20, 2016. Be sure and use the code FLYLAS when ordering the ride. Request your transportation after you have picked up your luggage, not before. Ubar, the other ride-hailing company is still in talks to be able to provide the same service the thousands of flyers needing a more affordable means of getting from point A to B.
