Breathtaking Holiday Display at Bellagio
Bring your cameras to Bellagio’s Conservatory, always tops in outlandish and gorgeous displays for every season, where they’ve done it again with a beautiful, 42-foot-tall, decorated Christmas tree. This year’s tree tops out at 6,800 pounds and is covered with 7,000 twinkling lights and 2,500 multi-colored ornaments. Guests will also find adorable polar bears constructed out of white carnations, playful animatronic penguins, a walk-through snow globe, a model train display and tens of thousands of poinsettias. The winter wonderland will remain on display through Jan. 3, 2015.

The Linq Transforms Into Winter Parq for the Holidays
Family holiday fun for all ages is at The Linq Promenade, which has been transformed into Winter Parq. For thrillseekers, there is a 30-foot-tall tubing hill made from real snow that riders can soar down, in place behind the High Roller. Tickets are $5 per ride or $20 for an all-day pass. The hill will be open Mon.-Fri., 4-10 p.m. and Sat.-Sun., 2-10 p.m. The Linq Promenade will have real snow falling every 30 minutes over the attraction with holiday music complete with carolers. On Christmas day, Nevada locals will receive 50% off a ticket to ride the High Roller.

Golden Gate Hosts Third Annual Miss Santa’s Helper Contest
Returning for its third year is the Golden Gate’s annual Miss Santa’s Helper Contest on Sat., Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. Players belonging to Club 1906 will receive a holiday token for every 100 points earned playing the slots, every $50 buy-in at the tables or any blackjack with a minimum $25 wager. Female contestants dressed in their most alluring Santa’s helper attire will put on the charm and hope to receive tokens from the “judges” (players). At 11 p.m., the top three female contestants with the most tokens will split the prize pool.
