Fremont Hotel & Casino Dealing New Form of Blackjack
Looking for a new table game? Change It 21 is now on the gaming floor at downtown’s Fremont Hotel & Casino. If blackjack is your game of choice, give this new twist on the traditional game a try. It is dealt as a regular game of 21 but players can exchange one of their cards for a new one by telling the dealer which of your two cards you want to switch. You must pay a “fee” of half your bet. Once the card is changed, it’s back to the original game, allowing you to split or double, but you may not double your hand after the split. The dealer must hit on 17 and the payoff for getting a blackjack is 6:5. Currently, Change It 21 is in a mandatory testing period before it goes into the trial mode, which could last up to 180 days.
